The Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design invites students to take part in the Blended Intensive Program – BIP, on the Restoration of Disturbed Natural Ecosystems (EU Nature Restoration Law), which will take place during the period 9-16 June 2024 in the city of Joensuu, Finland with physical presence (physical mobility).
The exact content of the program will be announced soon.
Every student of the Department (enrolled in an official study program, which leads to the acquisition of a bachelor's degree or other degree, including master's and doctorate) can participate in the program.
Successful completion of the program awards students ECTS and will be included in their degree Supplement (the exact number of ECTS will be announced in a later announcement). Interested parties should submit the following supporting documents to the Department Secretariat by email: g-fwsd@uth.gr (when sending the application they should write in the subject of the email: BIP Finland "Full name"):
- Student candidate application for ERASMUS+ studies (available from: http://erasmus.uth.gr/docs/aitisi_spoudes.docx).
- Original certificate of Analytical Score from the Department Secretariat.
- Short CV, in which the reasons for expressing interest in participating in the program will be mentioned.
- Copies of language proficiency certificates (recognized by ASEP).
- Copy of Police Identity Card.
Selection criteria (besides knowledge of English):
Sufficient knowledge of the English language. Students who do not have the required language proficiency certificate cannot participate in the program.
Candidates must have passed 80% of the courses of the semester they are in (the average of the course grade is calculated).
Disabled.
Participation in programs and activities of the Department is considered.
Personal interview.
