An important experiential day aimed at students and adults involved in Art and Science. The conference will take place at the premises of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design (FWSD) in Karditsa, on Saturday 1st October 2022 from 11.00 – 21.00.
The experiential workshop "The Art of Social Sculpture and Play Sculpture as Cultivation Tools for Pedagogy, Politics and Climate Change", takes place within the framework of the Project Biotransformation through forms of Art (Action 2K/ Social Action for Climate Change) with the Financing of the Green Fund (Natural Environment – Innovative Actions) in collaboration with the University of Thessaly and the Pedagogical Theater Workshop of Theatrical Game Without Omega.
The whole action through a variety of non-formal and informal learning methods such as: case studies, presentations, participatory lecture, experiential workshop culminating in the participatory Social Sculpture which will be presented interactively to the public initially at the premises of the FWSD Department and then perhaps somewhere in the city of Karditsa after collaboration with the Municipality of the city, aims to present to the participants and the public the points of contact and interaction answers to the questions:
- How can Pedagogy through Art cultivate Environmental-Political Culture?
- How do we experience Climate Change through the Body and through Art and how do we enter into the process of finding solutions?
- How does the design, by a group, of Social Sculptures with interaction give Pedagogy, the Environment and Politics quality and value?

Entry is free, while participants will be given certificates of participation.
