For the 2th consecutive year, the Master's Program "Advanced Methods of Manufacturing Wood Products" of the School of Technological Applications of TEI Thessaly had a dynamic presence at the International Education Exhibition SPOUDASE 2018 held in Technopolis (Kerameikos) in Athens on 19-20/5/2018.
In a large pavilion of the TEI of Thessaly together with two (2) other Master's Degree Programs of the Foundation: Modern Technologies of Environmental Management Projects & Computer and Systems Engineering – Intelligent Systems & Internet of Things (IoT), the Advanced Manufacturing Methods of Products from Wood, with rich equipment and tasteful decoration, made its presence felt at this exhibition with the promotion of the very valuable work done in the last three (3) years of its operation - see related video: https://youtu.be/atUeOLQerKQ.
Visitors were particularly interested in the 3D printer equipment available to the graduate program, which was programmed to print various objects throughout the exhibition that were distributed to visitors.
Also in the Laboratories of the Design & Technology Department of Wood & Furniture, several ecological and stylish wooden stands for mobile phones and cards with the logo of the postgraduate study program were made which were also distributed to visitors and they were impressed!
Synergies were also developed with other postgraduate study programs of other universities, such as: University of Western Attica, University of Patras, University of the Aegean, ASPAITE etc.
