Visit and Information Meeting by the Austrian Embassy

On Wednesday 15/5/2024 in the context of the Biomass Forum organized by HELLABIOM in collaboration with our Department, we will be visited by a group that is analyzed below and I invited them to give a lecture on forests in Austria as well as the training of forest workers and possible collaborations with our Department.

The presentation will be as shown in the program below.

14.40 – 15.00 Short greetings from the Ambassador of Austria to Greece Ms. Gerda Vogl, the Head of the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, Mr Christoph Sturm, the Representative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, Mr.PaulEhgartne and the Director of the Federal Forestry Research Center Ossiach,Ms.Anna-Sophie Pirtscher, who will make a presentation at the University. The mission also includes 15 managers of Austrian companies that have a connection with forests and biomass.

15.20 -16.00 Presentations about the state of forests in Austria and biomass, as well as the technical training of forest workers.
