Postgraduate students Panagis Kallivokas and Ioanna Kanellopoulou took part with their works in the "Beware of Greeks" exhibition held on 17/10/2017 in Brussels and organized by the independent MEP Sofia Sakorafa.

The above postgraduate students, together with six (6) other students of the undergraduate study program of the Department, participated with remarkable design proposals having as their main theme the design of modern utilitarian objects/furniture inspired by Greek tradition and culture

Speaker at the event on the subject of participation and the role of the Department. in the area of DESIGN, it was the Lecturer of the Department Ioannis Ntintakis, MSc Industrial Designer, while the mission also included: Georgios Ntalos, Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering and the ETEP member, Athanasios Makris, MSc, Industrial Designer.

Among others, the MEPs honored the exhibition with their presence: Takis Hatzigeorgiou, Manolis Kefalogiannis, Nikos Houndis, Ivo Vaigl, Dimitris Papadakis, Cecilia Wilkstrom, Eliza Vozeberg, Thodoris Zagorakis, Neocles Sylikiotis, George Grammatikakis, Stelios Koulos, Konstantina Koun yes In addition to the Department of Wood and Furniture Design and Technology, the Department of System and Product Design Engineering of the University of the Aegean as well as professional Greek Industrial Designers participated in the exhibition.
