On 9/12/2016, an educational visit was held by students and professors of the Master's Program "Advanced Methods of Manufacturing Wood Products" of the Design & Technology of Wood & Furniture Department to the wood processing plant of the ALFAWOOD SA group. in VI.PE. Larisa.
At the ALFAWOOD company, Ms. Ioanna Dimaki, Marketing Director, and the executive I. Delfos (who is also a second-year student of this MSc) welcomed and guided the students and teachers around the factory premises. Both the production process and the organization and operation of the company were analyzed.
The educational visit took place within the framework of the MSc courses and the students, especially those who were not graduates of the Department and were graduates of other Schools (Polytechnics, Forestry, Forestry, STEF, STEG, etc.) had a very important experiential experience.
Accompanying professors were: G. Ntalos and M. Skarvelis.
