An educational visit of students and professors of the postgraduate study program of the Department of Design & Technology of Wood & Furniture of TEI of Thessaly entitled: "Advanced Methods of Manufacturing Wood Products" took place on May 2-6, 2016 to institutions related to the subject of the MSc.
The mission visited an innovative furniture manufacturing industry CAPDELL, one of the largest furniture and packaging research institutes in Europe AIDIMA and the Polytechnic of Valencia – Department of Industrial Design in the city of Valencia, Spain.
The impressions, knowledge and experiences gained by the members of the expedition were excellent. The foundations were also laid for the development of greater collaborations both in research programs and postgraduate programs, as well as in ERASMUS+ exchange programs.
Along with the educational nature, the participants were given the opportunity to visit the sights of the beautiful cities of Valencia and Barcelona.
We thank all the members of the mission for their impeccable cooperation in the realization of a particularly successful educational visit, but also the above-mentioned institutions of Valencia for willingly accepting our invitation to tour their premises and inform our students!
Students of the undergraduate study program of the Department also participated in the mission.
